Who are we?
ExB YP is an exclusive organization for emerging leaders ages 21–40 who want to grow, connect, and make a difference in the Burlington community!
We empower young adults to engage with the local business community, develop personally and professionally, and contribute to the region through collaboration and service.
You do not need to be an ExB Partner to join, and you don’t need to work in an office or hold a “white-collar” job—this program is truly for everyone. Whether you’re a farmer, artist, teacher, nurse, electrician, entrepreneur, student, or stay-at-home parent, you belong here.
Our vision is a thriving Burlington where young professionals of all backgrounds are valued, connected, and inspired to lead with purpose and shape the community’s future.
What do we do?
Our programming is built around three core pillars that help young professionals build relationships, strengthen their skills, and give back to the community.
Pillar 1: Engage
Meet new people, discover local businesses, and build genuine connections in a fun, relaxed environment.
Social Meetups – Laid-back gatherings at local breweries, restaurants, and community spots.
Sports Networking Night – Active, energetic networking such as a sporting event & tailgate or local rec league tournament.
Pillar 2: Develop
Grow personally and professionally with interactive, high-value learning experiences.
Professional Development Workshops – Skill-building sessions led by local leaders.
Book Club – Quarterly discussions focused on growth-minded books that inspire reflection and learning
Pillar 3: Impact
Strengthen Burlington through service, collaboration, and meaningful community involvement.
Growth Groups – Small peer groups offering accountability, support, and deeper conversations.
Community Service Projects – Hands-on volunteer opportunities that benefit local nonprofits, neighborhoods, and community initiatives.
FAQ
Do I need to be an ExB Partner to join or attend events?
No, you do not need to be an ExB Partner to join. If your company is an ExB partner, you will receive a discounted rate.
What is the cost to join, and what does the membership include?
There is an annual $100 membership fee. In 2026, this will be 50% until June 2026. If your employer is an ExB Partner, your membership fee is always discounted at $50. After joining, you are responsible for any costs associated with the events you choose to attend.
YP Partners will receive access to member only events, free networking/social admittance, and discounted pricing on ticked events. Non-partners are always welcomed to see what we are all about but will pay higher admittance fees.
What if I’m new to Burlington or don’t know anyone yet—is this still a good fit?
Absolutely. Young Professionals is one of the best ways to meet people, feel included, and establish roots in the Burlington area.
Do I have to attend every event or can I choose the ones that interest me?
You can choose the events that interest you! We host a variety of activities to appeal to different personalities and goals. While not every event will appeal to everyone, we encourage partners to try new things and step outside their comfort zone—it’s part of the growth experience.
